Plain English Summary: MemberReel is a video-first business directory platform for chambers of commerce. Members pay $35/month or $350/year for a business spotlight listing. Chambers earn $8/month per active member. We handle the tech, you handle your members. These terms cover both chamber partners and individual business members.
By accessing or using MemberReel ("the Platform"), creating a business listing, registering as a chamber partner, or otherwise engaging with any part of this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform including business members, chamber partners, and visitors. MemberReel is operated by TurnCom360 LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify chamber partners by email of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
MemberReel provides a video-first business directory platform for chambers of commerce and their members. The Platform includes:
MemberReel does not guarantee any specific level of traffic, member acquisition, or business results from participation in the Platform.
Access Codes: Business members access the Platform using unique CONFIG codes distributed by their chamber partner. These codes are non-transferable and may only be used by the member they are assigned to.
Profile Responsibility: Members are responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted to their profile, including business name, contact information, address, and video content.
Code Security: Members should keep their CONFIG code confidential. MemberReel is not responsible for unauthorized use of a member's code.
Profile Updates: Members may update their profile information at any time using their CONFIG code at memberreel.com/join. Profile changes are subject to admin review before going live.
One Business Per Code: Each CONFIG code may only be used for one business listing. Using a code for multiple businesses is prohibited and may result in immediate deactivation.
Pricing:
Billing: Subscriptions are billed automatically through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize MemberReel to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until cancellation.
Failed Payments: If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry up to 3 times over 7 days. If payment cannot be collected, your listing will be automatically deactivated. You may reactivate by updating your payment method and completing payment.
Price Changes: MemberReel reserves the right to change subscription pricing with 60 days advance notice. Existing subscribers will not be affected until their next renewal date after the notice period.
Taxes: Prices listed do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your subscription in your jurisdiction.
Revenue Share: Chamber partners receive $8.00 per active member per month, paid quarterly within 15 days of quarter end. Quarters run January–March, April–June, July–September, and October–December.
Code Distribution: Chamber partners agree to distribute access codes only to current, dues-paying members of their chamber. Distribution of codes to non-members, competitors, or third parties is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the partnership.
Promotion: Chamber partners agree to reasonably promote the directory to their membership through available channels including newsletters, events, and digital communications.
Termination: Either party may terminate the chamber partnership with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, active member subscriptions will be honored through their current billing period and final revenue share payments made within 30 days.
Exclusivity: MemberReel does not offer exclusive territory agreements. Multiple chambers within the same geographic area may participate on the Platform.
Video Content: All video content must be 60 seconds or less in duration. Videos must be professional in nature and directly related to the member's business. Videos are hosted on YouTube (Unlisted) and embedded on the Platform.
Prohibited Content: The following content is strictly prohibited on the Platform:
Moderation: All profiles are subject to review before activation. MemberReel reserves the right to reject, modify, or remove any content at any time without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in permanent account termination without refund.
Reporting: Users may report inappropriate content by contacting billt@turncom360.com. We will review reports and take appropriate action within 5 business days.
Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Platform including business information, logos, and video content. By submitting content, you grant MemberReel a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.
Our Content: The MemberReel name, logo, platform design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of TurnCom360 LLC. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.
Chamber Branding: Chamber partners grant MemberReel a limited license to display their chamber's name, logo, and branding materials on the Platform for the duration of the partnership.
Information We Collect: We collect business information submitted through member profiles, chamber registration forms, and payment information processed through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details — all payment data is handled by Stripe.
How We Use Information: We use collected information to operate the Platform, process payments, communicate with members and chamber partners, and improve our services.
Data Sharing: We do not sell member or chamber partner data to third parties. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the Platform (Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Cloudflare for hosting).
Public Information: Business profiles on the Platform are public by default. Any information you submit to your profile may be viewed by anyone visiting the directory.
Data Retention: We retain account data for 90 days after subscription cancellation before permanent deletion. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
Member Cancellation: Members may cancel their subscription at any time by contacting MemberReel at billt@turncom360.com or (888) 596-2060. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Listings remain active until the period end date.
Refund Policy:
Chamber Partner Cancellation: Chamber partners may cancel the partnership with 30 days written notice to billt@turncom360.com. Member subscriptions continue through their billing period. Final revenue share paid within 30 days of termination.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MEMBERREEL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEMBERREEL'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO ANY USER SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES PAID BY THAT USER IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
MEMBERREEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Vance County, North Carolina.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
